Our Cause

Our mission is to celebrate Afro-culture and empower Afro-Americans thru travel. A.F.F.R.E.E.C.A. creates partnerships that facilitate educational experiences and excursions that showcase African contributions worldwide, with emphasis on first time and disabled travelers.

Goals

  1. To raise awareness of the need for reparations for African Americans and the transformative potential of free education and travel.
  2. To advocate for policy changes at the local, state, and national levels to support free education and travel for African Americans.
  3. To collaborate with educational and travel organizations to create and promote opportunities for African Americans to access free education and travel.
  4. To provide resources and support to African Americans seeking to take advantage of free education and travel opportunities.
  5. To create a community of empowered African Americans who can serve as advocates for social justice and equality.

Our Core Values

CULTURE: Sankofa by remembering our history and reclaiming our culture,  by learning from our past we recognize our untold stories of beauty and our accomplishments worldwide.   

EDUCATION: Historically education was prohibited during slavey and sometime it can feel like its still prohibited with cost incured. We believe  education should be free  for those who have the desire and ability to learn. We hope to help bridge the achievement gaps within our marginalized community.  

EXPLORATION:  We believe every African American who wants to travel to a country with African culture should be able to, we want to give 1st time travelers access to reconnect with the motherland to heal the disconnect between the American decendants of slavery and the diaspora. Our goal is to give access to American decendants of slavery to find their roots around the world.

EMPOWERMENT: We want to empower African Americans though experiences.  By creating pipelines into industries.  Airline  hospitality,  tourism,  stem  careers.  We want to highlight career paths outside of sports and entertainment.  Its our goal to be able to offer access to scholarships, mentorship and partnership that will positively impact the future.

Global Reparations Effort

WE THE DESCENDANTS OF ENSLAVED AFRICANS DESERVE AND ARE LONG OVER DUE GLOBAL REPARATIONS. OUR GOAL IS TO HELP FACILITATE TRAVEL  FOR FIRST TIME TRAVELERS TO THE CONTINENT. WE SUPPORT REPARATIONS IN  THE  FORM  OF  FREE TRAVEL, FREE EDUCATION FOR  LIFE,  TAX EXEMPTION AS WELL AS COMPENSATION FROM ALL  COUNTRIES AND CORPORATE ENTITIES WHO BENEFITED FROM THE ENSLAVEMENT OF AFRICANS.
